Location: Adams Elementary School
We are launching another year of Whiz Kids at Hope Connection Church during Serve Week 2025! We have a long-standing partnership with Adams Elementary School as a church, and we are headed into our third year of a program called Whiz Kids. Whiz Kids is a non-profit that helps underprivileged children with their reading skills. As a Whiz Kids mentor, you have the opportunity to work with a child one-on-one throughout the school year with their reading skills, as well as share the Gospel with them. If you are interested in being a Whiz Kids mentor, sign up below!

09/13 | Food packing for Homeless Outreach
Location: Hope Connection Church
We’re kicking off Serve Week with an outreach to share the Gospel with those experiencing homelessness in downtown OKC. Join us on Saturday, September 13 from 6:00-7:30 PM as we prepare for our Homeless Outreach happening on Sunday! At this event, we’ll pack bags filled with a sandwich, a cookie, a water bottle, and a bag of chips. These bags will be handed out during our outreach downtown on Sunday to launch Serve Week. Come ready to serve, have fun, and help us bless our city!
Reminder: Signing up to pack sandwiches does not register you for Homeless Outreach. If you’d like to do both, please sign up for each separately.

This year, we're adding an outreach to share the Gospel with those experiencing homelessness in downtown OKC. Together, we’ll meet a physical need while offering a spiritual opportunity to meet Jesus. During this outreach, we will park our cars, walk around in groups of 3-5, and ask if they would like a sandwich bag - during that time, we will take our opportunity to see if we can pray for them!
VOLUNTEERS:
1) Must be at least 16 years old.
2) Will meet at Hope Connection Church in the Hope Team Lounge at 3:00 PM for orientation.
3) Will depart from Hope Connection Church at 3:30 PM.
Reminder: Signing up to pack sandwiches does not register you for this outreach. If you’d like to do both, please sign up for each separately.
